Roms not loading on droid???

i just got my motorola droid and i downloaded the snes emulator. when i go to the folder and select the game i want to play the screen goes directly back to my home wallpaper. why is it not loading these games. please help

My Snes emulators have never worked....no matter what method anyone has told me or one that I've found, to load game ROMs onto the phone, will not EVER work for me...NO MATTER WHAT! But the regular Nes emulator worked just fine, no problems whatsoever
