Rom Manager Issues

im pretty new at this but my dx is rooted and I have purchased Rom Manager when i go to install roms everything seems fine.. I then click ok to reboot into clockworkMod recovery and continue installation.... phone resets goes to "M" logo then just does a normal start up installation never happens.. has anyone else ran into this issue? Please help! im not sure what im doing wrong.

The first thing that comes to mind -- did you wipe data and cache prior to installing the new rom?

yes i clicked both boxes and hit ok

I would get Bootstrap Recovery instead of Rom manager. Bootstrap works better with booting into recovery, IMO. Both accomplish the same result but Rom manager is not as stable and resourceful.
