It is finally here! The first ever AOSP vanilla Android 4.4.2 Kit Kat rom has been made available by the liquid rom team. Developer "Santod040" released the rom yesterday ahead of the official release of Cyanogen Mod which is still not available for the Verizon variant of the M8 although the CM team said it would be up by nights end. Liquid Smooth roms have always been some of the fastest and most reliable roms and have always packed in the custom features that everyone wants in a custom rom. This first release is Beta but the only Bug that is known of is a PIE launcher bug which just requires a reboot to show up once it is applied. This rom also includes a custom kernel which should further improve performance.
As stated above this rom is packed with custom features. Some features include Linaro 4.9 GCC Toolchain (which should drastically improve boot times and overall rom speed), other various tweaks and mods for performance and battery life, custom animation controls, TRDS 3.0 (liquid blackout in settings, active display, slims quick settings, Halo (named "bubble" in settings), active display, ram bar, CM theme engine, Privacy guard, built in Super SU, working wifi tether, cell broadcast, slims configurable power menu, slims configurable nav bar, custom animation controls, lockscreen notifications, and much more. It should be noted that this rom does require that you be S-Off via Firewater SOFF, and rooted with custom recovery installed. Head to the link below for the download.
