Today was the big day! After the Nexus 5 and Kit Kat 4.4 were leaked, or should i say flooded, like crazy for the past week or so Google finally decided to put an end to all the madness. With the release of KitKat 4.4 Google quickly pushed it to the Android Open Source Project. Developers have been equally as quick in bringing Kit Kat to the New Nexus 7. Developer "Papi92" has released his build of Pure Android 4.4 for the FLO variant of the Nexus 7. You won't find any customizations here just pure stock vanilla Android. This appears to be the first of the KitKat roms to be released for the New Nexus 7. Installation is super easy. You will need to be unlocked, rooted, and have custom recovery installed. You can download the Rom and the Gapps from the link below and simply flash both in recovery.
