Road Runner outgoing email

I am able to send mail via WiFi, but not 3g or 4g. Have deleted and centered email info. Have contacted time warner to verify information. Have spent a ton of time with service provider to work through phone settings. Sometimes I receive "unable to authenticate" errors. When the box to apply a password for outgoing it still does not work. I am in Austin. Anyone else having the problem?

Hi cwg! Welcome to the forum.

I also use time warner roadrunner and I think it is a very inconsistent problem with roadrunner and android. I have come to accept that most of the time, I will not be able to send via rr unless I am on my home wifi. I have tried every recommended server setting suggested to no avail, talked to twc, & verizon.

If there is anyone that has had luck getting rr to send email, I am all ears. Best of luck to you... and me.
