RM problems

I am having alot of issues using RM. Downloads on every rom take over an hour and when it's time for it to install a rom it gets aborted. I have tried fixing permissions, reboots, uninstalling and reinstalling RM and nothing is working.Can someone please help me?
My mirrors are getting hammered. I'm trying to get a few new ones up now...
