Ringtones vs notifications and alerts

Is there a way to have a notification for text messages and a different one for an email and a different one for when you plug it in to your computer and so on?

Yes its in your settings.. if you want music or different text tones for everbody download handcent.

Yes. Look at the options of each account and you should where.

For email: Open email, then tap on the menu button --> click Account Setting and you should see "select ringtone" listed.

I am used to having a black berry and setting everything up in the main settings so it is taking a little getting used to, but God how I love this phone!!!
