Text/email alerts on the notification bar...

Hey, does anyone know a way to show new texts/email alert notifications other than on the tiny bar at the top. Sometimes you have to squint to see an alert there and would love for a new alert to be centered on the screen (come on, it's huge and wasted lol). Thanks!

Sorry I didn't realize someone asked something similar to that on another thread. I'm gonna try SMS popup and see if that works.
