Ringtone for voicemail??

Hi, I am new to the Droid, coming from a BB Storm2. So far the Droid is leaps and bounds better than my BB. However I have a couple questions regarding my droid.
1. How can I get my phone to ring when I have a Voicemail?
2. Once I put a new folder on my homescreen, is there a way to rename it?
3. I have synced all of my E-mails and Facebook info to my contacts, and now instead of being "mom" and "dad" they are showing by their names... which isn't that big of a deal, but would rather have them as "mom" and "dad"...

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

1. i think the voicemail/missed call doesn't have its own setting, at least i don't see anything. it uses the standard notification ringtone. the best way to avoid confusion is to make sure other apps have their own ringtones too. i use google voice for my vm, which allows me to pick what i want.

2. open the folder, then long-press the title. you'll get a window to rename it.

3. change their family name by editing your contact. if you have separate contacts that say mom and dad, but their facebook is their name, you can join these by editing the contacts.

I have changed every name I can to "Dad" however it is not working! Am I missing something???
How do I get Google Voice? I got onto the site, but I need an invite??? Does anyone have any laying around that I can take off your hands??

Is your dad a Google Contact, or Facebook? If he's both, I think Facebook takes precedence, but if he's just Google, you can try changing it on gmail.com, but now that I think about it, that might not solve anything at all...640k might be right.

As far as Google Voice invites, I signed up for one, but decided not to wait, so I bought mine off eBay. You can get one for the price of the average paid app, so I figured there wasn't much harm in going ahead and buying one...

Yeah, I just added another contact and didn't sync with FB. No big deal.
I'm still willing to take a Google Voice invite off someone's hands if you have one laying around....
