Restore contacts on new rom

I lose my contacts everytime I flash fission and I can't find a way to get them back. Any feedback would be great.

Did you have them backed up with either backupassistant or google contacts?

Then my suggestion would be to use the backup assistant website to export your contacts as a CSV file. Then you import that CSV file into your google contacts, which will push them to your phone. That way, from then on, Google is syncing your contacts to your account, and you don't have to use that Backup Assistant trashware.

I don't understand how people lose their contacts on a Google phone. Once you resync your Gmail account, they all come back. Why would you save contacts in any other way than Gmail on an Android phone? I didn't know there was any other way.

I have no idea why that it didn't work like that it said they were synced then when I tried to restore them after flashing the new rom it only gave me one conact
