- Is this type of monitoring a good thing ?
- How about flashing that custom-built firmware ? Will this be possible on an X ? Even if it's possible should we ?

Wowzers! I just uninstalled every app thas wasn't mad by a developer for the hacking android market.

If people aren't paying attention to user comments and security warnings, then they are burning themselves. It's not a problem with the Android OS or any Android-based phones or even the Android market.

It's purely user ignorance when it comes to security.
