Replacement phone from Asurion

My wife dunked her phone again and as of yet the rice has not brought the screen back to life.

I contacted Asurion to replace her DX1 and they are apparently out of stock. The replacement option was "droidxtwo" but the picture and specs were of the droid2. I assume we are not getting the dx2 but if we do I'm jacking it from my wife!

Has anyone had experience with this? A search for "droidxtwo" turns up nothing plus the picture didn't match because it had a slider.

It isn't that uncommon to get the successor of your previous phone or one close to it from them.

If memory serves D1 users were able to get the DX as a replacement from them at one point.

Darn, I love my D1 but I wish I could get it replaced with a DX lol
