Repeated Phantom Drain Overnight, and Random Data Loss.

Fullstop

Hey guys. I've perused the forum left and right. Up. Down. And even green. I have set my Modem Rev A. to Enabled. So I figure that very well may solve the data problem. I hope.

Right now, the focus is on the Phantom Drain. I'd lay my phone down for the night and it would be anywhere from 78% to 59%. This has been the past three nights.

When I awake in the morning 6-8 hours later, my phone is completely dead.

I have sync, wifi, bluetooth, and all that off so I am completely at a loss.

This has been the last three nights in a row and I've not made any changes or downloaded anything.

Any ideas my friends?

I am having the same problem. Is your phone rooted? Did you resolve this?
My phone is stock. Ultimately, one of the things I did was make sure the "chat" in facebook's program is logged out, and then I killed the Blockbuster's auto update movie function. That helped.

I have had similar issues, I think that FB chat really bones the battery too. I haven't been testing it as much as I should be but try to keep an eye out for those apps that stay connected for data.

Google Talk is a silent killer too. I set my Google Talk to not automatically turn on/log in when my phone starts up. Otherwise it always runs in the background by default.
