Renaming pictures and picture folders

Hello,
I am a new member here and I need some help please.
I have a Droid Razr Maxx that is about 9 months old, with Ice Cream sandwich. I downloaded the last major update about 2 months ago and I can't figure out how to rename new or exsting pictures or create and name new folders to store these in and how to name my existing folders. It's probably been this way since my update, but I just didn't notice it untill now.

Grab a file explorer from the Play Store. ES file explorer, Astro or something like that. Your pictures should be in sd/dcim/camera.
