Removing Commercial Apps

How do I remove the crap-apps such as "blockbuster" from the app screen? I drag them to the home screen and then into the trash but they just reappear again on the app screen. Any simple way?

If you use LauncherPro or ADW, there are options to hide the icons that you don't want to see in your app drawer.
