Remove Pairing from Head Set

I did a search but the answer I found didn't work. I got a new blue tooth device and I want to remove my old blue tooth from pairing. Suggestion was to hold the old device and remove option would pop up. It didn't.

Am I missing something here? I appreciate any help.

Long pressing on my new headset brings up the option to unpair. To remove my old headset, I had to reset the headset to get it unpaired. Check your headset info for reset instructions. Mine was holding all three buttons down for six seconds. What headset are you using?

Blue Ant Q1. Thanks for responding.

I've only had it for a few hours. From what I can tell it appears to do the job for me. Like the handsfree calling. I don't do a lot of voice calls so 8 is more then what I need for contacts.

The headset I removed was a Jawbone 2.
