Remove Chrome Recents

How can I remove recent searches from being saved as tiles when I open up the chrome browser? I do not want recent/frequently visited websites saved into my chrome as shortcut tile Windows everything I open chrome.

If Chrome is opening your last visited sites, go to settings and then to startup and select open new tab.

Long press on them and it will give you the choice to delete them .
