If your streaming from your droid wouldnt you be using the droid to select your music, etc?

If you want to control your home music from your droid the best app i can recommend is using gMote its my fav app on the droid had it for a while and now even run it on my gtablet which is android powered.

what happends is you install it on a computer and hook up the computer to your speakers or sound system, than you can control all the music that plays on the computer from your droid using your droid as a remote, or you can play the music thats on the computer on your droid from anywhere in the world.

So is your question actually how to stream the music wirelessly? Your Droid's not going to control the home stereo without an IR transceiver.

You can get a bluetooth audio gateway to connect to your receiver.
