The Remix OS is the attempt to bring a more desktop friendly version of Android to your PC! It's first iteration was very promising, but was still a bit lacking. The latest update brings support for 32-bit systems so it can be ran on a much wider variety of computers now.

Other new features include dual boot support which means you can now run this alongside your current operating system which is great since you no longer have to dive head first into Remix in order to try it out. Remix now supports OTA updates. Unfortunately Remix still does not support built in Google services as it has not received the Google stamp of approval. Still you will be able to side load Google Services and the Play Store which is really no big deal.
