Remember this sound. Wow things change.

LOL..... People laugh at me all the time.... That is my ring tone..... After about a week of me having it seemed like everyone in my small town all of a sudden had it....

I used to brag to my friends in middle school and say I had a 56k modem cuz they all had 28k.....

I remember having a 56k modem, you never connected at that speed. But one day it said I was connected at 56k and all I was doing was checking email....felt I wasted all that speed for nothing lol

Too funny. I remember having a 2400 modem and upgrading to a 14.4. I was amazed at the speeds I was getting at the time. :icon_ lala:

2400 baud! HA, my first modem was 150 baud...then I upgraded to the 300 baud modem! Now THAT was an upgrade. At 150 baud, you could watch the sentences being composed across the screen! LOL! :D

And how about dot matrix printers?! :p

I remember that too, watching the text print across the screen. I showed a friend that I had access to the inter-net and he just walked away.

Dot-matrix, remember people doing graphics with the ASCII character set?

We do have it lucky now!

We had a service called "prodigy". Not really the internet. Had to talk my husband into getting a color printer.
