I posted this in the App section and got no response, so I figured I would put it here to my fellow Fascinate users.

Ok, I know this is something that may have happened to someone long ago, but I am a bit impatient in trying to search forums. I tried Googling but came up a bit short in maybe clarifying what exactly I did.

So here goes. In my epic fail of a move, I deleted the Market Update from my system drawer, so now I am stuck with the old ugly Market on my phone. Is there any way to get it back? Or will it simply update itself again soon?

If you're running a ROM that had the update embedded, you can get the market update from the ROM package and manually re-apply it. If you're running stock, I'd assume that the same would hold true. Grab the update from a ROM package.

google android market.apk.. one of the downloads is there,
all you have to do is put the file on your sd card with your usb cable, go to the file and install it.
thats how i had to update mine

If you're unrooted, how did you remove the market update?

If you go to your system drawer and click on the Market, there is an uninstall button. It removes all updates. I know, it was a dumb move, but I did it nonetheless.

I've tried to reinstall the .apk a couple of times but get a "Parse" error. I tweeted with @GalaxySSupport and they let me know that having EA28 update the market just needs time to recognize the update and it will eventually update on its own. So now, I wait.

Oh it will update again should only take a day or so.
