Received my phone from Asurion Question???

I broke my original Droid which I did the froyo download to 2.2 on. Got my new/referbished phone. It has the 2.2 on it. How is that?

My guess is that during the refurbishing of the phone 2.2 OTA push came down and they installed it. Really no other explanation that I can come up with.
