did you try to flash a new rom before the error?
Does holding x and powering on get you to recovery?

I wish people would take charge of their recovery image and go with sp recovery. I see 10 RM fails a day. If you use RM, you have to flash the image twice in half the cases. You have great help here, but I had to drop my .02.

Not sure what may be causing your issue. Here are some things you can try.

1. Flash the alternate recovery (SPR). Power off then power on by pressing "X" and power. Make a backup and reboot. Then try to re flash CW.

2. If you have the most current version of CW installed revert back to a previous version and see if that will allow you to use CW.

Hope this helps.

If you can find koush's repository, check if the apk is in it.
