Rear Speaker Hissing

Ok...I did some searching and did not find a similar situation. Rear speaker making hissing sound during Alarm this morning or when in mute and getting message.

This morning, my Alarm went off, started playing my song to wake me up, then went into static. Weird.

Went to work, put it on mute as normal, then vibrate. All day long, messages received had a Hiss sound out of rear speaker when Talk or Mssg received a message.

Cycled power, seems to be gone, or at least less static, not sure....Seems like related to message service some how.

Only unusual App left open was Soccer game. Still hissed when mssg rec'd after closed.
Droid 2.0.1, not hacked.

Waiting to get off work to use rear speaker and make sure it's ok.

Anyone else hear this?

I'm having the same problem, but I haven't installed anything but updates to existing apps. I am on 2.0.1 and rooted.

Seems to have gone away after power cycle.
