Really really long boot time for AOKP?

Hey all,
I flashed my GNex with AOKP rom and it's been 45+ minutes booting up for the first time... so I pulled the battery and tried again and 15 minutes later it's still booting. Umm.. is this normal?! And if it's not, what should I do? i'm starting to get a bit panicky. :blink:

Try booting into recovery and wiping data.

Pull the battery and then put it back in. With the phone off, hold Both volume buttons and power. Scroll to recovery using volume down and select with power.

You really should have known this stuff before flashing a ROM....it's pretty basic (no offense). Did you even install a custom recovery?
