Ready for an upgrade. What to get?

I have had my Incredible for quite awhile now and am eligible for upgrade and am wondering what to get.

I have no brand loyalty, but will be staying within the Verizon lineup, obviously.

I am not as up as most of you on the current lineup and what is coming up. Was wondering if there is anything out right now I should consider or if there is something on the horizon I should wait on.

I have kind of been looking at the Samaung Charge and it looks ok, but want to hear your opinions.

I want Swype (the real deal, that I had taken from my Inc), HDMI out, awesome screen (Charge has Super AMOLED plus that is supposedly stunning), excellent camera, and the best processor I can get. Dual core is not that big a deal to me, as long as it is an upgrade from my Incredible. And 4g.

I am not that concerned about size. What should I look at for my upgrade from my Incredible?

The incredible is still one of the best phones out there. Avoid the droid x2, it is slower than the droid1 in real use despite amazing benchmark scores. The incredible2 is a nice phone, but barely better than the one you have.

Just wait, your phone is still good.

The Motorola Droid bionic is supposed to be coming in August I hope that's what I'm waiting for. Supposed to be alot better 4g device than what's currently available. 1 gb of ram , dual core , 4.5 inch screen atleast that's the rumors on the specs for the bionic but you never know!

+1 I wont be eligible for an upgrade for awhile yet so I'm hoping they hold off releasing it for awhile and really blow us away with the specs...hopefully it'll be out long enough for a decent price drop and of course long enough for people to figure out rooting on it and get some custom roms going

I would wait for the dual core processor phones to hit. The INC has hardware that still competes and is still one of the fastest phones out there. I think by fall when the new iphone 5 hits we will start seeing more Android phones with upgraded hardware hitting the market...

Idk.. Im pretty loyal to HTC as of late, especially after having the Incredible for about 6 months. I love everything about this phone. I'm interested in the Inc2 but I feel like nothing has changed with it. I feel like its the EXACT same phone.

I have the Dinc and I am pretty loyal with HTC, so I'm leaning towards the Dinc2, but I also want to be up to date with the 'next big thing' with the 4g LTE

Kind of is, one noticeable difference is the larger screen

If you had a incredible I'm guessing you got into some rooting and flashing roms. I would pick up the thunderbolt to lock in unlimited 4g and with a custom Tom and kernal people have posted pictures of 16 hours of actual use

Yup... the Dinc2 has a larger screen, faster processor and a sim card slot for GSM if you travel overseas a lot.

Could be a very good choice...

I can upgrade in August. I may hold off for just a little bit to if anything exciting comes out. My gf has the TB and I'm just not that impressed with it. Its a little too big for me. I'm not impressed with the Charge either; I hate Samsung all together.
