Razr work internationally?

Will I be able to use my razr to make calls globally, specifically in central America? what about data?

The razr is locked down. So an American razr won't work in another country unless Verizon has agreements with carriers over there.... $$$$$$$$ expensive this way too.

A GSM device would be a different story. Its Verizon who has em locked down Unfortunately.

I just read that the razr may soon become a world phone, along with the d4 and some other devices. It says its a coming feature.
