Razr hd lte first charge question

I got my razr hd LTE yesterday, so what i did is i didnt see it said in the box under the phone charge me up fully before we start. So I did what i usually do - discharge it completely then i left it discharged overnight cause i forgot to put it in the charger. Then today i popped it in the charger and started using it after it said 100% charge(i dont know if it fully charged for 5 hours or not).Then i started using it it drained to 90% in 30 min-it seemed a lil fast so i searched this forum and put it in charge an waiting for fullcharge for 5.Can someone say if I messed up my battery and what should I do maybe discharge it to 15% and charge it for 5 and a half hours?

Your battery should be fine. Probably a couple of things going on here. It takes a few days for your battery to reach its full potential anyway. Also the first 10-15% seems to drain "quickly" for me as well. It really slows down after that. Obviously screen on time or activities alter this so your mileage may vary.

What I would do for a few days is use it until its around 15%. Turn it off and let it charge to 100%, turn it on and then unplug it. Repeat this process for the first few cycles.

Thanks for posting but Im wondering if I messed up the calibration or something when I didnt charge it fully and used it untill it drained untill 90%?Now im waiting for the full charge, i think i charged it for 2 and a half hours today-the thing said a 100 percent so i unplugged it.Im a newb with these batteries-I usually uncharge a new phone and leave it plugged in 24 hours.It should be fine if I do a few cycles like you said?
