razer max lost some apps, can I get them back?

Specifically I had an app called places, and another that was a gps navigation that came with phone. Im not talking about vz navigator. I used both of these programs alot. I am not sure how I lost them but I would like to get them back on my phone. Places was an app where you could enter restaurants or any other business and it would find them near by, and give you directions.

Those are all part of Google Maps now and were removed as individual apps as the functionality of those were all merged in to Maps a few updates ago.

You don't. You use those features inside Google Maps as Google moved the features there.

You could try to uninstall the updates. I did that when I first lost Navigation. After playing with maps for a bit you can set it up just like Navigation was. If you want to try to uninstall the updates go to settings > Apps > Maps > Unisntall updates. Once it is complete you should have them back. You'll have to set your apps to Not automatically update otherwise it will go away again. Hope that still works!

Navigation still got installed on mine when I pulled it down from Google Play.
