Random screen timeout.

I have noticed that while doing some things whether it be settings screens, browser, tapatalk, a game ect... my screen will timeout in say 15seconds 30 seconds... sometimes 5 seconds. But if the phones just sitting there it will sit on for the full 2min. This happens maybe %10 of the time im on the phone, its fairly random. Any ideas on what might be going on?

Try going into settings, display, and unslect in pocket detection, also on the top left of your screen you'll see a little sensor array, those two are the light and proximity sensor. Sometimes your hand can trigger the proximity sensor and it will turn off the display. Hope this helps?

Yeah my girlfriend's RAZR does the same thing. Its pretty annoying but I just thought it was because she throws her phone around carelessly

I also had this problem briefly but I found it was because of GoLocker, I uninstalled it and re installed and it has not done it since.
