random reboot thoughts

wonder how many that have random reboot are running a high speed kernel or low volt kernel?
have not had a single one since moved to chevy 1 MV.
1.2 mv does cause issues even when limited to 1.

wonder if people are getting caught up the overclock game.

I don't think the stock kernel was the one they meant to release and seems to have caused several ppl problems. Its easily enougg fixed tho by flashing a kernel in the sourcery settings menu....start with the lowest and work ya way up.

Yea we changed the stock kernel right before release and it wasn't that heavily tested. V1.1 will have a different stock kernel in it one we hope will be more stable

my fault

Yeah i chose to switch the kernel at the last minute and it turned out not to be such a great idea sorry.

I see people in threads saying using 1.2 and only 1 or 2 reboots, so the point here was if you changed one don't always go for the highest one automatically.
should have clarified that better, sorry.

a 1.2 limited to 1 will usually not run as efficiently as a 1g opened up.

I also had random reboots with the stock kernel .. I flashed Slayher's 7x1100LV using sourcery wizardry and all is great... Not one reboot ! Love this rom !

My thoughts

as stated I have not gotten into the world of kernels yet. but
I know that running the 1200 slayher downclocked to 1000 or 900 works better for me than using the 900 or 1000 kernels. ?
Is this a voltage thing?

from what I have read its how it ramps up between slots, I see a lot of difference in cpu temps too.

I love this rom, by far the coolest rom to date. However I have had reboots like crazy. I flashed several other kernals and this seem to help some, but has not corrected issue 100%. This rom is so cool I can live with a couple reboots. All ears if someone has a fix.
