I am running the 6.0.1 smoked rom with chevy's 1 ghz kernel. I have also run adamz 1 ghz kernel. I am getting temps of around 45-55 celsius with hardly any use. The phone is also rebooting randomly, but seems to run normally after removing battery and letting it cool for a bit. Any suggestions?

I do use setcpu. My profiles are:
charging 800 max, 250 min
sleep/standby 250 max, 125 min
power<49% 800 max, 250 min
power<30% 400 max, 250 min
temp>50 celsius 550 max, 250 min
I have not messed with any advanced settings. Its normally set on 1000 max, 250 min. I have clocked down to 800 with the same problem. 45 to 55 Celsius is high temps for this processor, right?

Why so high on charging? I would think that during charging you wouldn't want to run that puppy over 400.

55 is as high as you probably want to go before you have it stop overclocking, I think I ran mine at around 50. I'm back to stock now. Have it run max 800, there really isn''t that much difference that I can see between 1000 and 800.

I keep it a little higher during charging, because a lot of times I like to use the phone while it is hooked up to the charger. I agree that there is not much difference between 1000 and 800, but I have overheating issues on 800 too. What is the difference to one person being able to run 1.2 with no temp issues when I can't even run 800 without temp issues?

I was using Adamz before I switched to chevy's. I have also tried Adamz on MV just to see. Same problem...

Well, I was running the fireworks live wallpaper, so I disabled it to see if that fixed my problem. im not using a live wallpaper at all now, and my temps haven't even hit 40 degrees, even after fairly heavy use.
