I've noticed that some others in this forum have experienced similar problems but I have yet to see a solution (at least to my problem). My Galaxy SII (w/Ice cream Sandwich) has for quite some time now been experiencing random notification(?) ringing (similar to that of old fashioned bicycle ringer). In virtually
every case, this random ringing has not been associated with any noticeable alerts (for text messages, voice mail, etc.). I have called Samsung tech support
about this issue and have uninstalled/reinstalled my apps, but to no avail. The only way I have been able to deal with this problem has been to turn off the
"notifications" volume. Obviously, this is not a good solution. Please help!
