I just noticed this while scrolling through my app drawer.
Anyone have something called "SIM toolkit"?
It was never there before.
Can't even delete it or open it.
Mysteriously appeared.....

It's a known Ghost application that sometime appears in your app tray and other times isn't there. It's a system-level app and it doesn't do anything (at least nothing than anyone on the forums can ascertain). I believe it may be a Sub-System app that somehow lost (or repeatedly loses) its hidden setting and was never intended to be seen by our eyes. Ignore and be happy. :icon_ lala:
Just thought I would post this. I know we are not GSM, but the Droid Razr does use the SIM card. Don't even know if it will be useful, but hey, you never know.
I've surfed other Droid forum sites and although opinions differ from site to site, I've read anywhere from its a root spy program to figure out who's phones are rooted to its a way to update tower signal strength for the phone to it does nothing at all cause its a "ghost app" that shows up from time to time. Mine appeared last night for the 4th time this week and managed to get a screen shot. Before I rooted my Razr, it appeared a lot of times, and since rooting (about a month ago), it appeared about 8 times randomly.
