Hello everyone! I have seen your forum thousands of times when searching for ROMs, rooting help, and other stuff. It really helped me. I'd like to help you in turn. I made a short video on rooting the Droid X, and all help is included in the description of the video. I remember my root wasn't a walk in the park, so I hope this video will assist to most of you out there.

Note that I am on Gingerbread 2.3.3 (this will not work on Froyo or Eclair). System versions that are supported are 4.5.602 and 4.5.605. After this video, I'm hoping to make a video on installing ROMs as well, as soon as I get a hand on an HD video camera.
