Quick question - smiley button and return button

Hello, really quick question which ive tried searching for without luck.

On a text message can i default the return key (bottom right) to be the smiley key as it was on my Nexus One rather than going into the settings menu and selecting it there? This is on the default RAZR keyboard.

hmm thats interesting im going to investigate

If you install Handcent there is an option for the action key under the application settings. That will change it and it will stay that way.
