I read somewhere that there was no difference in the razor and the razor maxx except the battery and I was wanting confirmation because I was pondering on getting a maxx and rooting it but I wasn't sure if I could use the same procedure with both or if they were different I currently have a DROID x2 and I upgraded from a DX and I can't do nearly as much with the dx2 as I could the DX and no one is really doing anything with it anymore so I guess what im asking is if the roms are the same and so on

Yes, except for the battery, the hardware is the same, as is the software.

Correct. The larger battery and rear housing for it are the only differences between the RAZR and the MAXX besides the model number in the "About phone" section. Rooting, ROMs, etc. are the same for both.

Thanks that helps im bored with my dx2 and Im looking for something else so I guess the maxx will b the way to go
