This is probably a common question but what is a rom and what's so special about it? I've had my droid for a couple months now and love everything about it. I've rooted it and looked up all sorts of things to do with a rooted droid and I saw rom threads everywhere. I have no clue what they are or what they do. If someone could explain them I would appreciate it 
(im not tech savy so you might have to talk to me like im 5 but ill do my best to understand
