Question for Gear Owners

I want my car to continue to automatically connect to note 3 bluetooth. If I use gear will I have to fool around with bluetooth settings every time I get into the car? Thanks!

My Note 3 pairs with both but my car stereo is default for phone and music audio - the only time it isn't is if I answer the phone via the Gear and not my phone or radio touchscreen.

Is that a setting in the phone? I mean do you have to choose a default somehow?

And do you love your gear? Looks pretty cool. Too bad no email but it seems to do everything else.

I do like it, it has some really cool features but I also think it has a lot of possibilities. If you like to hack or mod your gadgets, it is rootable :-)....

I didn't chose anything - I did have the BT on my vehicle setup first tho.

If memory serves Bluetooth 3.0 and above not only does multi pair but also multi connect and simultaneous connect.below that it'd do multi pair and connect but not simultaneously usable. Example; on your Note8 you can use a Bluetooth keyboard and earpiece at the same time whereas 2.? and back you couldn't. It'd pair and connect to both but would choose one to use at a time. I'll have to check my Tab for its Bluetooth version, if it really matters to you, because it was the first to have it and I think it's 3.0

Yes, if I lose car connectivity gear becomes a hindrance. I guess I'll have to try it to be absolutely sure. Every car is different. Mine is phone calls only, no media.
