[Question] APK Manager and compile/decompile ?

Does anybody know if the "Vending.apk" would be considered a system apk when compiling it ? I have been trying to theme this damn app for a while now but always get force closes and think that this could be my problem.

What version of Apk Manager are you using? Shouldn't matter which place you put it as long as you compile and sign it for that situation.

It is considered a system apk, and depending on what version you had installed on the phone prior to you trying to flash the new one, yeah many guys have had issues with the Vending.apk FC'ing or disappearing altogether...
Best bet, answer Y to it being a system apk, then Y to copy all original files to the keep folder, then delete everything from that Keep folder that you editted in the projects folder, and also just delete the resources.arsc file from that Keep folder, and finish recompiling.... and if you really want to you can try it unsigned (which should work fine) or sign it as well (which it shouldn't need but worth a try since other themers state that they've had success doing so)

Nevermind I got it figured out finally! I knew right as I asked for help I would get it figured out... Its kinda like sitting at a stop light and the second you look down at your phone the light turns green, so you can't ever look at it.

God man where were you a month ago ! Somehow I figured I would try doing that option where you delete everything you have edited and the resources.arsc and it worked. In the past I have always just said no to that option which was my problem I think
