Editing .9 images and the APK won't compile

I'm using Photoshop CS4 and I edit the image just fine, save it and then try to compile the APK, but I get the error with the script in APK manager, why does it do this? I know it's the .9 image messing it up, but I don't understand why....

you probably dont have java in your path.
theme help tutorial - Android Forums

look through the whole thread.
figure out how to get java in your path.
do not boot anything you get an error on in apk manager.

does your log specify that it is a malformed .9.png or it's not defined?

It looks like it was just because the stupid file was still open in photo shop.... got it to compile
