Hi, I was just wondering if either the old droidx wugfreshtether work or the sqlite editor that works with bionic work ?

No. You have to edit some values on the radio itself. There are many threads about it. I would link but I'm too lazy to find it on my phone.

Easytether app works without radio hack for USB tether. Only for wifi hotspot do you need radio hack...

wugfreshtether was a Gingerbread wireless tether hack for phones like the droidx. So I'm pretty sure he was talking about getting wireless tethering working on the droid3.
