Question about returning equipment from over the phone upgrade.

Not sure if this is the correct forum for this question, if not my apologies. I used my upgrade last week to get the Bionic but I did not like the phone so I returned it fedex. They received the return yesterday 10/17/11 at 10am, but my account still hasn't updated and show I'm eligible for a upgrade. You guys that have experience returning equipment from upgrades you placed over the phone what is the total turn around time to get my account updated and show I'm once again eligible for a upgrade after Verizon gets the phone back?

I called and once was told it take about 24 hours, and tonight was told it takes a week. Who knows what to believe at this point, I would like some feedback from you guys that have first hand experience with this issue. Thanks for your time guys!
