Question about Bionic, app updates, and frozen bloatware

I am new to all this, I have a rooted bionic running .901
Everything on the phone works great but I have 3 apps that I have frozen with Titanium Backup (paid version)
They keep asking to be updated in the market

Shouldn't freezing them stop them from asking to be updated?

I have shut off auto update checking but this is a curiosity to me
I'm wondering if my root didnt take correctly or is there something else I need to do?

Maybe I should add the names of the apps:
V-cast Tones
VideoSurf Video Discovery
Citrix Receiver

Go back into TI and long press the app and select detach from market.
