I cannot post a new thread because I just signed up.
I have an AT&T prepaid voice plan that fits my needs. I make about one short cellular call every six weeks or so and I don't care about data; I use the wireless router.
OK, so assume that I buy this device from where ever... or some other Android device, perhaps a Galaxy Mega from Amazon... whatever.
My question is: If I insert my AT&T sim card into the device, should I expect the new Android device to function *as a voice cell phone*? Dunno whether it'll receive data or not and don't really care... I don't expect anyone else to know, either.
AT&T won't say; of course, they want to sell me a new data plan and I'm not interested.
What's your bet?
