After ending a call is there anyway to make the phone go directly to your home screen?

It always goes to the Call Log. Many times I will use a Starred Contacts shortcut to get to the number I am calling. I will also always have to clear this screen as well.

So, can I make the phone go to my home screen after the call is ended?

get "not call log" in market. does what you want

Try the app "Not Call Log" in the market place. It's a lifesaver from accidental dialing.
