question about 3g turning off for battery manager?

So if I use the battery manager to turn 3g off after 15min can I still receive calls/texts/gmail with the 3g off.

That turns off data. For facebook, weather apps, any app that uses data will be off until you manually refresh. Text will still come through and phone calls will also, but it will turn 3g back on.

Thanks for the quick reply. There should be a Droidforums chat so small threads like this don't get posted all the time. I would go to root-ed but the admins can be rude sometimes like there gods gift or something.

Not talking about here im talking about root-ed shoutbox app. I used to go there for help but they would ack like u knew nothing and talk down to people. The people here are great. Just saying an admin for droidforums should come up with a chat room the keep from these small threads from taking up space.
