[Q] annoying problem

i am hopeing the great ppl here at DF can help me with a java problem . i have looked all over and cant find this anywhere , when trying to start a web applet i get .

error encountered while invoking java web start (sysexec) c;/programfiles (x86)\java\jre6\bin\javaw.exe
all help will be appreciated

almost forgot win 7 x64 amf phenom duel core 12 gigs memory using both crome and firfox all the latest

I have the same problem. I have tried reloading everything 2-3 times. What is really crazy this happens on an HP laptop windows 7 dual core 4mb system and my other laptop dell 1525 laptop windows 7 dual core 4 mb works fine. GO FIGURE?? Same software different hardware.:icon_evil:

May have found the cure. This morning I went into javaws.exe properties and set run as administrator and it worked. Try this on your system.

I'll bet that's what it was, that seems to be a fix for many Windows issues.
