Putting on screen protector from seidio?

I get my phone and screen protector and case all on friday.. and I was wondering if I could apply my screen protector from seidio on the droid right out of the box and then put the droid on charging right after.

Would this be fine, or hurt the phone?

Just noticed that seidio's don;t need liquid...so im sure this is a no. lol.
