PURITY vs. SHIFT3R

Sorry if this has been posted, but I can't find a thread that directly compares one vs. the other. What are the differences? Under what circumstances should I opt for one vs. the other?

Thanks!!

I think the simplest explanation is that one (HIFT3R) has Moto-blur (like the stock on the phone) and one ([P]URITY) is pure Android (no manufacturer specific customizations). So, if you like your stock Bionic's social networking and contacts widgets, those are not available in [P]URITY. If you are used to using ADW, or some other launcher, then the blur widgets are probably a nuisance to you, so [P]URITY would be your preference. I'm sure someone can catalog the exact differences, but in a nutshell, HIFT3R is a customized version of the stock (in look and feel) Bionic ROM that includes removing bloat and adding performance enhancements, while [P]URITY is a customized version of Android that will work on Bionic with DroidTh3ory's performance enhancements.
